Your Portrait

The first step is to select a reference photo from which you would like your portrait to be drawn.

I encourage my clients to send as many photos to me as they like and then we work together to select the one which will work best.

I ask for the best quality photos possible to work from, however understand that in the case of memorial portraits, for example, I will have to work with the photos we have which is no problem at all.

Reference

The final step in the process is to select a style and medium that best aligns with your vision for your portrait.

This is entirely personal, with some clients preferring a tighter realism and others a looser, more expressive style.
